چکیده
Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background Atrial tachycardia (AT) is a commonly encountered rhythm disorder in patients with underlying atrial scar. The role late potential (LP) based mapping the detection AT critical isthmus has yet to be systematically evaluated. Purpose We aimed investigate relationship between LPs (ALP) localization sinus and re-entrant ATs low-voltage areas. Methods Thirty-five symptomatic [mean age: 62 ±9, gender: 25 (71.4%) female] left AT, who had undergone catheter ablation, were enrolled. Voltage LP performed both atriums. Low voltage areas signals continuous-fragmented morphology tagged. Isochronal activation (ILAM) was also all procedures. After induction during detect sites tachycardia. Results Activation indicated single re-entry 30 ≥1 5 patients. Localized observed 20 (51.2%) patients, macro 18 (46.1%), biatrial 1(2.5%). mean fractionated electrogram duration termination site calculated at 134.3±46.7 ms bipolar 0.17±0.12 mV. ALPs tagged (64.1%) on anterior wall, 12 (34.3%) roof, (12.8%) septal wall 2 (5.7%) Bachmann’s Bundle region. All latest activated zones ILAM localized predicted successful ablation terminate AT. Freedom from tachyarrhythmias (ATAs) 78.7% six months follow-up 338 ±226 days. Conclusion Our findings demonstrated utility predict for ATs. These displayed signal sinus/paced correlation detected mapping.

Characterization of reentrant circuits in left atrial macroreentrant tachycardia: critical isthmus block can prevent atrial tachycardia recurrence.
BACKGROUND Left atrial macroreentrant tachycardia (LAMRT) has not been characterized in detail. METHODS AND RESULTS Twenty-eight patients with LAMRT, including 4 patients with ablated typical atrial flutter (AFL), underwent electroanatomic mapping of the left atrium (LA) between February 1999 and October 2001. LA maps were performed during LAMRT in 26 patients and during sinus rhythm in 2 pat...
متن کاملEndocardial late potentials during sinus rhythm define the re-entry circuit of ventricular tachycardia in arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia (ARVC/D) is an inherited cardiomyopathy characterized by progressive fibro-fatty replacement of the right ventricular myocardium. We report a case where mapping of endocardial potentials during sinus rhythm identified the re-entry circuit of a recurrent ventricular tachycardia in a patient with ARVC. The tachycardia was subsequently abla...
متن کاملTemporal sequence of right and left atrial contractions during spontaneous sinus rhythm and paced left atrial rhythm.
The sequence of right and left atrial contractions was analysed in 8 patients during spontaneous sinus rhythm and paced left atrial rhythm. During sinus rhythm, the beginning or peak of the right atrial a wave invariably preceded the beginning or peak of the left atrial a wave by a median of 32 and 34 msec, respectively. During paced left atrial rhythm, the beginning or peak of the right atrial...
متن کاملThe value of catheter mapping during sinus rhythm to localize site of origin of ventricular tachycardia.
We assessed the value of endocardial catheter mapping in 52 patients in sinus rhythm and with 102 morphologically distinct ventricular tachycardias. The local bipolar electrograms from various regions of the left ventricle were assessed and quantitatively classified with respect to the characteristics of amplitude and duration. With the use of this assessment we found that electrograms from the...
متن کاملIntraoperative endocardial mapping during sinus rhythm: relationship to site of origin of ventricular tachycardia.
Mapping-guided endocardial resection has proved to be an effective therapy for recurrent sustained ventricular tachycardia. However, some patients cannot be mapped during ventricular tachycardia, so that guidance from findings during normal sinus rhythm would be highly desirable. We examined the frequency, timing, and duration of several abnormal types of electrograms recorded endocardially dur...
